Born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Kate spent summers at the beach and winters in hibernation. After earning degrees in psychology, criminal justice, and education, she decided it was time to pursue a career where the summer sun shines warmly all year long.

Upon arrival in Marathon, Kate spent five years as a marine mammal educator and dolphin trainer. It was a rewarding career and when it was time to move onto another adventure, she chose real estate. Jerrye Crawford came back to Marathon Florida after 15 years in the Northern Palm Beaches working at Great Southern Realty originally as the office administrator and bookkeeper. In 1994 she became a licensed real estate agent, specializing in condominium sales. Upon graduation from high school, I answered my country’s call to duty by joining the US Navy. Upon completion of my tour of duty I continued serving the public by becoming a Paramedic/Firefighter. After my last assignment as county EMS Chief in a southeastern Ohio county, I chose to move to sunny Florida. I continued serving the public in Florida by obtaining my real estate license. I now live in the Florida Keys and assist others in selling their property or buyers hoping to own a piece of paradise.
